Had the pleasure of joining a group of amazing people in a 6 week Swellness project. There are no words to describe how amazing it was. Especially the support and courage not only woth Ollie and Emma showed but also all the team. Not only did I manage to get into the sea (with a slight fear) but after 6 weeks was able to stand on a board 😲If you feel like your not cut out for it (like I felt), this is the place you need to go. There amazing with helping you adjust your surfing to your requirements no matter the issue you may face (either physically or mentally or even both).They are inspiring people and the amount of work they put into making everyone feel included. It is magical and I could not have asked for a better team.

At 50+ Ive just completed a fabulous beginners' group surfing course with the Blue Horizons team. They have managed to get me from beginner to standing up and starting to move around the board in 6 sessions! I am completely amazed (and addicted!.) The bespoke instruction from knowledgeable, approachable and cheerful staff who were in the water with us throughout- and keen to help us improve - deserves the credit for this! I can't wait to get back in the water with them again (and hope to enthuse my children to join me!)

Great surf lessons with kind and knowledgeable people. The wetsuits are warm and the boards quality and different sorts to choose from.

What can I say Blue Horizons Surf club are another level!!! The staff and volunteers are so friendly, their enthusiasm and positivity just beams its so infectious. Sessions are so much fun and informative, it's all at your pace and ability. Blue Horizons is where it’s not just about learning to surf — it’s about discovering confidence, connection, and that unbeatable feeling of being part of something special.

Fantastic all round! This company took outstanding care of our disabled child, who rode waves alongside our other son and I. The tuition was amazing, instantly identifying and correcting where we were going wrong. This allowed us to both stand up and ride waves on our 1st lesson. Couldn't recommend highly enough!! What a day!!!

What an amazing experience. These guys and gals were amazing with our disabled son. They took him in and he rode waves alongside our other son and I. The instruction was second to none, instantly identifying where were were going wrong and suggesting the corrections that allowed us to ride waves standing up on lesson 1. Highly recommend this company! What a great way to spend our 1st morning in Wales.

My son absolutely loves his time at this surf club! His confidence has grown so much since he started, and it’s all thanks to the amazing instructors who make every session fun, enjoyable and safe. The atmosphere is always positive and inclusive. Such a lovely community to be a part of. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great surf club for their kids.

Our three kids had a fantastic time learning to surf at Broad Haven with Blue Horizons. Lovely instructors who were really friendly and helped all three stand up surfing by the end of the session.

All the team are brilliant, so sensitive, supportive and responsive to my son’s needs. It’s wonderful to see him having fun and catching waves within no time.

I can’t thank Emma-Mary, Ollie and the crew for being so welcoming in their adult surf lessons. If you’ve ever wanted to give surfing a go then blue horizons surf club is for you, they welcome all ages and abilities with open arms.Despite being in a group, they give you as much 1 to 1 support as you need and get you riding the waves with a smile on your face. They are so warm and friendly and make you feel so comfortable being in the water. It is never too late to try something new. I couldn’t recommend them enough!

The whole blue horizon team are amazing. We attend the inclusive sessions and my son loves it. Wetsuits and boots provided which is great. The team are so patient and give my son so much confidence in the water, allowing him to learn at his own pace with no pressure and lots of support and heaps of fun in the water. Thank you guys.

Oh my goodness, I just wanted to say how amazing the team at Blue Horizons is! In giving my son surfing lessons to help him build his confidence, and they’re absolutely incredible. They’re so supportive and encouraging, and it means the world to him. Thanks a bunch, Blue Horizons Team!

Absolutely amazing surf school who enable us to learn to surf as a whole family including our 15 year old visually/physically disabled son - they gave him the choice of Cerebra surfboards and have a beach wheelchair to get him up and down to the water and then support him to surf in the water the best he possibly can whilst teaching us how to surf too and as they have said we are fast becoming a family of surfers! It's a session we now always look forward to on our holidays in Pembrokeshire and would highly recommend to anyone wishing to learn to surf.

My son has been surfing regularly with Blue Horizons CIC at the adaptive surfing sessions. He has absolutely loved it and has grown in confidence. Physically he is so much stronger from the surfing with more balance and core strength. It has made a real difference to him. The staff and volunteers are excellent and teach with fun and humour. I feel he is safe with them and I have no worries about him being in the water.We have also benefitted from the accessible boat trips, which have also been amazing and full of knowledge and history. They are always fun and staff are always incredibly friendly and warm.This is one of the most wonderful groups to be active in Pembrokeshire.

Ollie does amazing 1-1 support for my autistic, son. Builds confidence never better.

Amazing! The inclusive surfing session is incredible for my son. The team are always so kind, patient, and always make him feel confident and supported every step of the way. He had an amazing time, and seeing his joy out on the water was unforgettable. We’re so grateful and can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely fantastic surf club! My daughter did the kids club last season and can’t wait for it to start again. Ollie and Emma Mary do an amazing job —super friendly, and passionate about helping kids build their skills and confidence in the water. The instructor-to-student ratio is excellent, so each child gets plenty of attention and support. always welcoming, and the sessions are really well-structured, with loads of fun beach/water games even if it’s flat or the weather is poor. Couldn’t recommend it more.

Can’t recommend Blue Horizons enough! Our boys have got so much out of surf sessions with Emma-Mary and Ollie - they’re fantastic role models as well as great teachers with endless patience, kindness and integrity. We love it when surf season comes back around each spring! 🏄🏼‍♂️🏄🏼🏄🏼‍♀️

My wife and I went with two of our adult autistic sons on an inclusive boat trip. The team were so welcoming and friendly to us all. The boys both got chance to steer the boat and were so relaxed and happy to be with people who knew how to chat with them and make them feel welcome. I can't recommend highly enough. Simply fantastic in every way.

Emma Mary and Ollie are absolutely wonderful - they’re not just super skilled (you should see them surf! 🤩) but they and their team are the only people I’d happily leave my children with in the sea. They make everything so fun, you never want the lesson to end. I’ve even had lessons myself and am so grateful for the techniques and confidence it has given me. I just wish I’d done it sooner. I thoroughly recommend them.

Blue Horizons is an exceptional surf school. Emma Mary and Ollie are devoted to making experiences fun and tailored to everybody. They have worked hard to make lessons as inclusive as possible by constantly sourcing new equipment.Smiles all round.

Just WOW! The Blue Horizons team are nothing short of incredible! The time and care they take to make people comfortable, understand their needs and make sure every single person they meet has a fun and magical experience with the natural world is honestly amazing. Whether it's boat trips or surfing, the team are THE most accessible and inclusive group I have ever encountered.As well as offering awesome surf lessons to the general public of all ages, they have dedicated time to learn and adapt to make sure anyone can enjoy being in or on the sea.With adaptive equipment, prone and tandem/seated surfboards, transfer slings and specialist wetsuits, to pen portraits and time with clients before the experience to make sure they understand their needs and desires for the activity, you know you are in safe and fun hands with the whole team.Ollie and Emma are the kindest, coolest, most community minded organisation in Pembrokeshire and continue to do everything they possibly can to make the magic of the big blue available to everyone.I work with people with learning disabilities and countless people who had previously felt that surfing wasn't accessible for them have felt the thrill of catching a wave with Blue Horizons. This includes people with profound and multiple learning disabilities, wheelchair users, non-verbal people and those with autism and down syndrome, to name just a few. Blue Horizons have also made surfing accessible for those with mobility needs, mental health challenges and brain injuries.Could not rate them highly enough!

I’m inspired by the amazing work of Em and Ollie. They have created a community interest group that really makes surfing and other water based activities inclusive and accessible to anyone. It’s the most wonderful surf school, with small group classes that ensure safety while having buckets full of fun! I know my little lad is in safe hands with the wonderful team in their kids club ❤️

My boys loved their surf lessons. The instructors were always super friendly and made the lessons fun. They learnt a lot about water safety and beach conditions as well as surfing and their confidence in the water improved a lot.

Best surf school in Pembrokeshire. Ollie and Emma-Mary are super professional, and always very enthusiastic no matter what the weather. Kids love them and they do lots for the local community. Highly recommended. Top people.

Ollie and Emma Mary and their helpers are very friendly and welcoming. Our children have been surfing with them for a couple of years. There is always time for each child, and fun and water confidence are the priorities 😊

Fantastic team carrying out safe and fun surf lessons. My 9 year old daughter loved having lessons last summer and they have really helped her confidence in the water. Emma-Mary and Ollie are so encouraging, would definitely recommend them and look forward to using them again this year.

Totally brilliant! This will be our 3rd year with Blue Horizons Inclusive Surf Project. They love what they do, and it shows. Kind, calm, adaptive and such great fun. My son cannot wait for every opportunity to get in the sea with this lot. Can't reccomend them highly enough

We booked an adaptive surf lesson for our 16 year old son with Cerebral Palsy. Ollie and Emma-Mary were friendly, organised and helpful throughout the process. The beach selected, as appropriate for the days weather, couldn't have been more perfect. They had great equipment to access the beach, and the instructors were helpful, patient and highly experienced. We had a simultaneous surf lesson for two, and all had a wonderful afternoon. Great fun all round. Big thanks to all involved, and we can't wait to return.

My daughter who is 8 has started lessons this year with Blue Horizons and she loves it. The team are fantastic with the kids. Definitely recommend!

Our boys (aged 8 and 10) have been learning to surf for just under a year and absolutely adore their sessions with Emma-Mary and Ollie. They are so natural with the kids and not only give them positive encouragement to succeed but also teach the environmental elements and provide knowledge for the kids to surf safely. We couldn’t recommend the team at Blue Horizons highly enough for their instruction in a kind, friendly and most importantly fun way. Thank you!!!

I cannot recommend Blue Horizons highly enough! My son and I had such a wonderful morning learning to paddleboard and exploring the glorious coast around Angle with Emma and Ollie. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt safe and really looked after the whole time. It was so much fun we both couldn't stop smiling (and a new hobby has been born!)
